The Encounter
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered the mosque and found Abu Umama (ra) sitting there outside the prayer time.
Say this in the morning and evening to relieve worries and debts.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered the mosque and found Abu Umama (ra) sitting there outside the prayer time.
He asked, “O Umama, why are you sitting here?” He replied, “Worries have overtaken me and debts, O Messenger of Allah.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Shall I not teach you some words that, if you say them, Allah will relieve your worries and settle your debts?”
“O Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and sorrow, from incapacity and laziness, from miserliness and cowardice, and from the burden of debt and the domination of men.”

Recite after Fajr and after Maghrib (or morning and evening).
Abu Umama (ra) said: “I did that, and Allah relieved my worries and settled my debts.”
